1-1 PERSONAL TRAINING $85/HOUR

*Most clients strength train 2-3 times per week on a set schedule (you own your time slots!). There are no drop-in sessions—consistency is key to achieving results.

Couples Training

FOR COUPLES TRAINING OF 2 PEOPLE (SPOUSES, FRIENDS, ETC..) ON THE SAME RECURRING SCHEDULE EACH WEEK, $40 IS ADDED TO THE HOURLY RATE/COMMITMENT LEVEL SELECTED ABOVE.  

*Small group training of 3+ individuals is not provided by JFay Fitness.

Personal training certification

NASM-CPT

The NASM-CPT  personal training certification is proudly accredited by the National Commission for Certifying Agencies (NCCA). The NCCA is a nationally recognized third party agency that accredits certification programs which are able to meet and comply with its standards.


NASM's NCCA-accredited status and industry-wide reputation is viewed as one of the best personal trainer certifications.  A NASM-CPT is regarded as the gold standard among fitness facilities. 


*Recertification is required every 2 years.

This is a GREAT question as most trainers have their niche of clients.  Some may be young athletes, some sports specific training, marathon training, the list goes on.  


My fantastic client base are adults typically above 30 years old, with the majority of my current clients being in the 40-80 age range.  I work with folks trying to lose weight, or those just focusing on adding lean muscle ("toning").    I've worked with several adults transitioning from Physical Therapy or Chiropractic care to Personal Training after an injury (back, achilles, knees, etc..).  

I also have experience in training clients with Neurological disorders, who are looking for customized training to build muscle, increase stability, balance, core strength and agility. 


Also, my focus is one-on-one training and couples training (spouses or friends).   I do not provide small group training classes. 


The majority of my clients train 2-3 times per week with me.  Each session is 60 minutes in person or can be done virtually.  Movement is encouraged on the days we're not training as well, which I can discuss in more detail during a consultation.  Also, rest days are NON-negotiable!  Your body needs to rest and recover in order to perform well, and to also avoid any muscle overuse/potential injury.   Rest days are usually 1-2 days each week.  


Unfortunately, that is not what I do as a  Certified Personal Trainer.  Your body is not Amazon prime, and I can't deliver results in that type of expedited, and more importantly - VERY unhealthy manner.   A commitment to your health and fitness is what I provide, and it is what I also ask from you.   You'll need to trust the process and the results will come!   The quick fad diets may help people drop a few quick pounds, but they are typically done in very unhealthy ways and last for a very short period of time.  This is how yo-yo dieting starts, with a lot of ups and downs in weight.   


When I work with clients, we approach things realistically by exercising the right way and eating well.  My goal is that you begin to enjoy exercising and want to continue on a healthy path of great nutrition and exercise well after we're no longer working together.   Even if you've never done this before and you're middle aged or older, IT'S NEVER TOO LATE!  I have several clients who have trusted the process and reached their goals.  Nothing here at JFay Fitness is about you eating like a bird or being hungry all the time and frustrated.  You need the right food to fuel your body for workouts and your consistency with me during our sessions and  the days we're not together WILL set you up for success.   


 This goes back to the commitment I mentioned above.  I've had clients train on average anywhere from 6 months to 2+ years with me.  Regardless of your contract term with me,  I want you to succeed in a healthy lifestyle for years to come!  


NO!  Just say NO to KETO. :) There are several reasons that I would never advise a client to follow a keto diet or any other very restrictive diet.  Moderation not deprivation is the key to your long term success.
