I help busy adults restart their fitness & nutrition plans and reach their goals. It’s never too late to live healthy, strong, and happy!

About Me

   I started my health and fitness career as a group fitness instructor, teaching indoor cycling classes.  My passion for fitness and teaching led me to enroll in the Certified Personal Training program through the National Academy of Sports Medicine. 

   

I emphasize core strength and stability - the foundations to all successful training programs.  My experience as an indoor cycling instructor gives me a unique style of motivation and enthusiasm, attributes I deliver during each personal training session to keep fitness challenging, fun, and enjoyable.


I educate my clients on the importance of both exercise and nutrition in order to reach their health and fitness goals.   Since both of these are your roadmap for success,  I’m also a NASM Certified Nutrition Coach.

My Training Philosophy – The Three M’s

  1. MOVEMENT – Custom tailored workouts for each client, specific to your goals, and also factoring in any current limitations from pain or prior injury. 
  2. MOTIVATION - I’m there with you every step of the way – trust me, YOU GOT THIS!
  3. MUSIC - (Yes, I said MUSIC). Playlists just for you in the background during your training session, to add that extra spark to your workout! You can stay focused and get fit while having a great time.  

Customized training options to fit your needs:

IN PERSON AT THE FAY FITNESS FACILITY:

Clients can train in my private home gym (located in Herndon, VA) with a wide variety of strength training and cardio equipment. 

  • Exclusive area with only the trainer and the client using the space, no sharing equipment here!
  • Medical grade wipes and disinfectant cleaner used on all surfaces prior to each and every session.


VIRTUAL PERSONAL TRAINING:

Sessions via Zoom or FaceTime designed with any equipment you have at home.   A little goes a long way!  I’m currently training several clients virtually - some have one set of adjustable dumbbells, while others have several pieces of equipment.  Everyone receives a fantastic full body workout using equipment and bodyweight exercises.  The best part about virtual training is you can live anywhere!  I have trained virtual clients in Virginia, North Carolina, Florida and various locations while clients travel for work or vacation.

    That number you see on your scale at home means NOTHING!  The full page results will help you find motivation to achieve your goals by reporting your individual composition (in pounds and percentage) of body fat, segmental muscle distribution, basal metabolic rate and more!

    My commitment to your health and fitness plan

    I know how hard it is to get started.  I also realize how much harder it can be to kick yourself into gear when you need a restart.  I'm here to help you every step of the way - from the first workout to your next personal best!


    It's not just about the days you train with me each week, it's also what you do on those other days for fitness and nutrition.  Recovery is just as important as your workout, so I'm also going to be there to encourage you to take that rest day!  I'll set you up with the right stretching and recovery routine based on your fitness level and any existing limitations.
